Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. By purchasing or using any FNP Path product you agree to everything on this page.

1. Educational content only — not medical advice

The Complete FNP Guide, The Complete FNP Pocket Guide, FNP Pharmacology Reference, FNP Billing & Coding Kit, FNP EKG Kit, FNP SOAP Note Template & Guide, the Board Mastery Study Planner, the FNP Question Bank, the FNP Mastery AI Coach, and all other content on this website are study and reference tools for nurse practitioner students and licensed healthcare professionals.

Nothing on this website or in our products is clinical medical advice, professional medical guidance, or a substitute for formal education, supervised clinical training, or the judgment of a licensed clinician. Do not use FNP Path content to make decisions about the care of a real patient. Always follow your clinical preceptor, supervising physician or NP, your institution's protocols, and current evidence-based guidelines.

2. Not a substitute for formal education or accredited exam prep

FNP Path products are supplementary study resources. They are not accredited educational programs, continuing-education credit, or board-review courses, and they do not replace:

  • An accredited FNP degree program
  • Clinical training and supervised practice hours
  • Board preparation from accredited or certifying-body-approved providers
  • Guidance from licensed medical and nursing professionals

3. No affiliation with certifying bodies

FNP Path is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), any state board of nursing, or any school. "AANP," "ANCC," and other certification names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the exams our materials are designed to help you study for. Our content is written from publicly available exam blueprints and professional references; it does not contain, and we have never had access to, actual examination questions.

4. FNP Mastery AI Coach — you are talking to an AI

The FNP Mastery AI Coach is an artificial-intelligence program, not a human being. When you use the Coach you are interacting with automated software. No clinician, instructor, or FNP Path staff member reads or reviews the Coach's answers before you see them.

The Coach is built on large language models supplied by third-party AI providers and draws on professionally sourced FNP clinical references and board-preparation material that we curate. Even so:

  • It can be wrong. AI-generated answers may contain errors, omissions, outdated guidance, or confidently stated mistakes, including in drug names, doses, and clinical thresholds. Verify anything you intend to rely on against a current authoritative source.
  • It is not a licensed professional. The Coach is not a nurse practitioner, physician, pharmacist, or licensed mental-health provider, and it does not hold itself out as one. It cannot establish a provider–patient relationship with anyone.
  • It is for study only. The Coach's practice cases, "patients," and scenarios are fictional and created for learning. Never use the Coach to make, confirm, or document a decision about a real patient.
  • Do not enter real patient information. Never type protected health information (PHI) or anything that could identify a real patient into the Coach. FNP Path is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, and the Coach is not designed for PHI. Prompts you enter are processed by our third-party AI providers to generate a response.
  • It is not for emergencies or personal health advice. The Coach is not a crisis, medical, or mental-health service. If you or someone else is in danger or needs medical attention, call 911 (in the US) or your local emergency number. If you are struggling, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US).

FNP Path is not responsible for any clinical, academic, or personal decision made in reliance on the Coach's output.

5. Question Bank and practice cases

Question Bank items, rationales, and practice cases are written by FNP Path for study purposes and describe fictional patients. Scores, streaks, and readiness indicators inside the app measure your performance on our material only; they are not a prediction of your result on any certification exam.

6. No guarantee of results

Individual study outcomes, board-exam results, and clinical performance vary with personal effort, program requirements, prior experience, and many other factors. FNP Path does not guarantee that you will pass any examination, earn any credential, or achieve any academic or professional outcome from using our products.

Testimonials and reviews on this site reflect the individual experience of the person giving them and do not represent typical results. We do not pay for reviews. Where a reviewer received a product free of charge or at a discount, we disclose it alongside the review.

7. Accuracy and currency of information

We work to keep every product current and accurate, but we do not guarantee that our website or products are free from errors or omissions. Clinical guidelines, drug information, coding rules, and exam blueprints change. Always verify critical clinical information — especially medication dosing, contraindications, and screening intervals — against the current guideline, package insert, or authoritative reference before acting on it. If you find an error, email support@fnppath.com; we correct confirmed errors in the next update.

8. Your license to use our content

All FNP Path content — text, questions, rationales, cases, images, layouts, and the app itself — is owned by FNP Path and protected by United States and international copyright law.

When you buy a product you receive a personal, non-transferable, single-user license to use it for your own study. You may not:

  • Share, lend, sell, or give away your account, any copy saved for offline reading, or any downloaded file
  • Copy, screenshot, scrape, reproduce, or redistribute any content, in whole or in part
  • Post our content to file-sharing sites, group chats, study groups, or social media
  • Use our content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI or machine-learning system
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any watermark, licence identifier, or copyright notice

Downloaded files are watermarked with the purchaser's name, email address, and a unique licence identifier — visibly at intervals throughout the document and invisibly on every page — and downloads are limited to three per product. Sharing a file identifies you as its source. Violation of this license ends your access to all FNP Path products without refund and may result in legal action, including under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

9. Accounts and acceptable use

  • You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use FNP Path products.
  • One account per person. Access is tied to the email address used at checkout.
  • You may not attempt to extract content from the app or its offline storage, or bypass access controls, download limits, or watermarks, probe or interfere with the app or its servers, or use automated tools to access content.
  • Filing a chargeback on a product you have opened, saved for offline, or downloaded, or purchasing with a payment method you are not authorized to use, results in permanent closure of your account.

FNP Path products are prepared for the United States FNP certification process and are sold only to customers in the United States.

10. Information the app stores

Payment is processed by Shopify. FNP Path never sees or stores your full card number. To run the app we do store, on our own servers: your email address(es) and account details; your purchase and access records; your reading position and bookmarks; your Question Bank answers and scores; your AI Coach conversations; the devices you sign in from with an approximate location derived from your network connection; and technical error logs. Prompts you send to the AI Coach are transmitted to our third-party AI providers to generate a response. 11. Third-party services and links

Our website and app rely on third-party services — including Shopify for checkout, our hosting provider, and AI model providers — and may link to outside websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices of any third party.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

FNP Path products, the website, and the app are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, FNP Path disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any content is complete, current, or reliable.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FNP Path and its owner, contractors, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, exam results, licensure, employment, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, our website, app, products, or AI tools — however caused and under any theory of liability. In every case, FNP Path's total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid to FNP Path in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the smallest extent the law allows.

By purchasing and using FNP Path products you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own study practices, exam preparation, and every clinical decision you make.

14. Indemnity

You agree to hold FNP Path harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of our products, your violation of this page or our other policies, or your use of our content in the care of any patient.

15. Governing law

This disclaimer and any dispute relating to FNP Path products are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any claim must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida. Any claim must be filed within one year after it arises.

16. Changes

We may update this page as our products and the law change. The date at the top shows the current version. Continued use of our products after a change means you accept the updated terms.
